nonamediscourse:

acting like lesbian and gay people are inherently restrictive, regressive, privileged, mean, or aggressive is homophobic, for the record.

the stereotype of the bitchy, mean, aggressive lesbian is lesphobic. the stereotype of the aggressive, predatory gay man is homophobic.

the stereotype that bi people are bi because they’re more ~open~, somehow, mentally or emotionally, is biphobic and homophobic. i like people of multiple genders because i like people of multiple genders. it has nothing to do with my opinions or attitudes.

bi people aren’t more free, more promiscuous, less judgemental, or whatever. bi stereotypes are biphobic.

and it implies gay people are doing something wrong, being closed-minded somehow. and that they could “fix” this “error” by not being gay. which is homophobic.

quit using bi people as props.
