Kick cops outta pride

Kick politicians out of pride
Kick banks out of pride
Kick alcohol companies out of pride

But don’t kick LGBT people out of pride even if they are those things. Get rid of the norms and the companies trying to control us but let the people be free.

We can not be free so long as police are racially profiling, beating people, killing people, arresting people trying to get to work who didn’t know a parade was going so he had to cut across a parade so he can support himself and his family. We can not be free so long as alcohol companies are robbing us, taking advantage of our community’s well documented rampant alcoholism and turn around and give that money they steal from us to anti lgbt organizations and politicians. We can not be free while companies like the one I work for set up tents at pride a d send a myriad of cishets to staff it while telling their lgbt workers they can’t have the day off cuz “too many people already have it off.” We can not be free so long as our poc, disabled, trans, etc. communities are afraid to come to the event they’ve created.

I know you mean well, but we’re not saying kick these things out because we’re mean, they are instruments of abuse and violence against us that pride was a riot against.
