tbh the whole “____ people vs (same thing but Capitalized)” always rubbed me the wrong way bc it’s just another way for people to distance themselves from their privilege + racism/homophobia/ableism/etc like when straight/white/cis/etc people say “straight/white/cis/etc people suck” like shut up and unlearn your harmful behaviour instead of denying its existence and blaming other people
