If I had a dollar for every time a person came up to me and asked me if I was “mixed”, “ Dominican”, or said something like “you don’t look like a normal black girl” I’d be rich as hell. What even is a “normal black girl”? That shit kills me. And it mostly comes from other black people. Mainly black men. Y’all need to realize how unhealthy your perceptions of beauty are.
