“police should only be at pride for safety!” no. there’s literally no reason for cops to ever be at pride. they aren’t here to protect us, they’re the reason we have pride in the first place. there should be no police, and there should be no corporations.

police used to raid gay clubs and gay and transgender folks in los angeles, san francisco and new york got tired of it and fought with them which led to what pride became. police being there is not what pride was supposed to be about in the first damn place.
