I feel like there is a pretty solid chance we will never have a real, legitimate presidential election ever again in this country. And I think Republicans know this.

Between the loss of the VRA, the ongoing discoveries of foreign tampering, the Republicans’ very open attempts to continue gerrymandering districts, and he fact that it’s likely we’ll end up with a 6-3 or 7-2 conservative SCOTUS, I think it’s pretty likely we’re just going to end up with what is functionally a party-level dictatorship, one in which they’re smart enough to continue holding elections and trying to make them seem legitimate, but one in which all semblance of national level elections is a sham.
