Her husband, Jay-Z, came out with a new album in which he raps about, among other things, cheating on Beyoncé. In fact he admits that he cheated multiple times which caused her to experience so much stress that she miscarried twice.
It shouldn’t be surprising because Beyoncé made an entire album out of her experience with adultery – Lemonade (2016) – but for some reason people are only acknowledging the truth now that the cheater himself is admitting to it.
It’s awful and saddening and Beyoncé deserves so much better.
This probably isn’t a very popular opinion, but I don’t think the real story here is “Jay-Z cheated and Beyoncé deserves so much better”.
People deserve their partners to be faithful, that’s true. Still, I don’t think it’s as simple as she “deserves better than Jay”. People deserve healthy relationships.
I think the real story here is the choice, that they clearly both made, to stay together and work on their marriage. That’s as valid as a choice as any other. I think it is sort of beautiful, to get a real, honest, remorseful representation – from both parties – about what tackling truly difficult marital problems looks and feels like. Seemingly, they’ve successfully emerged on the other side of a very challenging time in their lives. I’d rather people see it as a success story.
I mean, if Bey has forgiven Jay and chosen to continue raising a family with him, why can’t people be supportive, rather than demonizing him? I think there are a lot of couples and families in the world who can learn from their courage. Not that staying together is the right choice for every couple, but it certainly is for some. Having a more honest and fair conversation about infidelity and healing after hurt is healthy.
Also, despite what Jay-Z might be emotionally dealing with regarding the loss of Bey’s earlier pregnancies, there really isn’t evidence that stress causes miscarriages.

Cheaters are trash. Fuck this “let’s here both sides out” bullshit; if you cheat, then you’re pond scum and I hope you get run over by a car. Even if Beyonce wasn’t who she was (which is what a lot of people are focusing on), she still doesn’t deserve someone like this garbage trash bag.
