I feel like the idea is interesting IF and only if the story is about the slaves fighting for their rights and winning. But even if that is the story, based on what I’ve heard about GoT, they’ll fuck it up

It would probably idk just a thought but it would probably be more interesting if they focused on the struggle for rights and winning that’s happening right now like black lives matter and the very real difference black activists are making rn to end modern day slavery and inequality but no these (white) creators just wanna carry out their wet dream that slavery is still legal and make it a whole production so half of racist America can jerk off to this wet dream too

I completely agree. when i say interesting i mean very loosely. like the idea doesn’t instantly bore me. And if such a show were to be made it would ABSOLUTELY have to be made by black people, cuz even the most well meaning white person can’t properly understand the situation.

These things ARE happening and we don’t need an AU to see it! So many white folks watching this show are gonna be like “wow we’re so glad it’s not like that rn!” nd the thought of that is enough to make me wanna burn shit to the ground
