Wow

Yo! Spread this around– both of my baby brothers are on the Autism spectrum and stuff like this is CRAZY beneficial, not to mention mostly unheard of. It’s so amazing to have options for kids who often struggle to integrate in public situations and also have fun

So, sensory friendly days are a great idea, but CARD? Is not a good organization. They are big supporters of ABA, which is super harmful. You can find links to read about that here.

And for those who want proof, look at their about page here – click on ‘approach’ to get the info.

I’m not saying “don’t go to this under any circumstances”, but please be aware of the issues. CARD is not an organization to support – if you write to Chuck E. Cheese about these days, PLEASE make it clear that although you heavily support the idea, you do not support the partnership with CARD under any circumstances. If you are living in the area where this is being tested and decide to ‘boycott’, then tell them what you are doing and why. If you do go, still get the message out to corporate that the partnership with CARD is not a palatable one.
