It really fucking bothers me when people tell indigenous people that there ancestors wouldn’t have survived without colonisation & colonialism. I don’t think yous understand that indigenous tribes had been around HUNDREDS of years before people decided to colonise countries that weren’t theirs. Y’all comparing modern society to indigenous tribes in the 1800s is ridiculous calling indigenous people violent and stupid as if you don’t realise that your “colonisation is necessary” is a statement based in racism and white supremacy
