you know we talk about this a lot but still. it’s so wild that the majority of the pressure is placed on the marginalized to stop using divisive language or to “unite” with the people very people who benefit from, enable, and perpetuate aspects of our society that quite literally ends in our abuse and deaths. i have 0 interest in educating or uniting with people who want me dead, do not question the deaths of people like me, abuse us in various facets while we live, or question my very identity and lived experience. i feel no sense of solidarity with those people!

just imagine if we applied that logic to other situations 😷! that’s like a friend telling you about how a home invader kicked their door in, terrorized them, and robbed them at gunpoint… and when they say girl i hate home invaders your response is “well shouldn’t we be critiquing the system that forces people to result to invading homes? did you try uniting w/ the invader instead, educating them as to why they shouldn’t rob and try to kill you? and it’s unfair to say you hate home invaders idk we’re all human… 1 bad home invader doesn’t make them all bad” like girl… you can really keep that shit! not interested 🙅🏾
