We need some help again

I have worked almost 40 hours this week painting the inside of one of my mother’s rental properties, but she won’t pay me unless I submit to every single one of her requirements without argument or attitude, requirements which are informed and shaped by the fact that she believes polyamory is morally wrong and is trying to convince me of that.

So I’m screwed.

I have about $300 in my bank account, red has about $100, and rent is $700 and due in a week. That’s not even covering my car insurance, which is now $100/month, and my car’s registration renewal, which is $240. That is also not including water, electricity, or internet.

We don’t have enough. I am looking for other work again since I just got screwed out of a weeks pay, and Nera is still looking for work.

So a bit of an update:

I moved in with Liz, life in North Carolina has been pretty good, and I’ve been getting some decent work. 

And then Liz’s abusive prick of a mom essentially scammed her out of $600 for not putting up with being hounded over the phone and not agreeing to have her life micromanaged.

Liz is one of the hardest workers I know, and this future is something we’ve both worked hard for, and we’re doing everything we can to make sure it lasts. Every little bit helps.
