i said it on twitter but boy group dances are often overhyped due to special gags and gimmicks despite as a whole not being that difficult or challenging. If you compare girl group and boy group dances, there are many simple gg dances but there are just as many simple bg dances, there are complex tiring bg dances but just as many complex tiring gg dances. 

girl groups often dance in much different conditions than boy groups like wearing clothing they need to be more careful in, complicated shoes (come talk to me when you try to do something other than struggle to not break your ankles walking in heels) and ON TOP OF THAT, there are a lot of expectations on how girl group dances should be including a level of femininity and grace. So just bec a gg isnt panting or pulling “hard” faces while theyre dancing doesnt mean what they are doing is easy. 

and there is also that hypocritical stigma against more sensual moves in gg dances but the moves that are usually super hyped up and seen as good in bg groups are usually pretty sensual…

tldr: if u say gg dances are all not as hard as bg dances just say you hate girl groups and go
