yixing is a fully grown 26 year old man whose english is arguably the best out of all the members in exo. he knows enough to understand that racial slurs exist and that it is not okay to wear them. acknowledge he messed up. tell him /calmly but firmly/ that he messed up and that he should learn from it and not do that again. explain how he messed up too. if you’re upset, you have every right to be upset. if you don’t want to support his solo right now, then that’s a personal choice and it’s okay. if you still want to support his solo while acknowledging that he messed up today, then that’s okay too. 

look y’all, we’re all human and we’re gonna make mistakes. babying a grown ass man does absolutely nothing to help humanity. let him know, let him grow. also don’t be an ass towards fans who are rightfully upset. y’all need to acknowledge your own racism too. check yourselves before you wreck yourselves.
