I often wonder how many inventions in America credited to white people were likely stolen from Black innovators making do in an openly racist society. And because white people had access to better resources and education were able to refine the ideas they stole and be credited for inventing the shit.

I think about this a lot, given the way white people have stolen shit throughout history and still have this obsession with co-opting Black culture and innovation for profit.
