and then there are white gay people trying to say “well how about GAY characters of color?” and honestly, i’d love that but you don’t even realize how unrepresented gay people of color are in media like… how likely is it that we’re going to get a sitcom or a lighthearted short series about that? not very, since most of the media has forgotten we even exist.
