Mike Pence’s NFL stunt is more than just embarrassing. It’s racist. Pence and Trump are keeping focus on this and whitewashing what the protests are about. It riles up their anti-Black supporters and feeds the nationalist flames. This is an attempt to shame Black protesters AND gain popularity amongst racist voters.
