Hello, my name is Cameron and I’m a 22 y/o nonbinary woman full-service sex worker. I’m making this post because I am looking to leave sex work. For months, I have been noticeably burnt out. I’ve also gained significant weight due to medication, and I am losing clients over it. A little under a year ago, I was raped while working. Since that incident, I have been assaulted three more times. After the most recent one, I don’t feel safe seeing any new clients, and I need to take benzos to counteract my anxiety before appointments. What I really need is to quit. I’ve found a new job, but the problem is, I’m currently behind on about $2000 that I will owe in taxes at the end of the year. I’m now approximately $150 short on rent because my insurance changed and I have to pay full price for my meds now, as well as my new vanilla job only giving me part time hours because a month into it they still consider me a trainee who can’t be trusted on my own.
