You know, I do think stories of regretful parents do need to be told, not as a ‘they’re so brave to be so honest!’ way, but as… cautionary tales, for the lack of a better term, that hopefully normalize not having children period. Too many children are born to parents that aren’t ready or even willing to have them, and end neglected at best, if not outright abused. We need to end the culture that pushes people, women especially, into having children regardless of how they feel about it. Those stories are valuable in that way, and that way alone. 

Those people can still get fucked, mind you.
