I got a job! There’s a catch.

I hate to do this, but I am doing a fundraiser for my move to PA to start my new library job. I have been unemployed, then under-employed for the last year, and just don’t have the money for a first month/last month rent on a new place. 

I’m taking nothing with me. Just what I can carry in the car. I don’t really have a place to stay yet when I get there (the car is an option) and I’m not sure what else to do. I’m trying to raise $1600, which I know is a lot, but I’m finally desperate enough to do it.

I’m doing paypal instead of GoFundMe because they take a portion of the donations. I’m also trying to keep my need semi-private right now. I’m not comfortable with my future employer knowing just how hard-up I am right now. If there is anything you’d like to know about this fundraising effort, please let me know. All money goes toward a first month/last month. If I somehow get more than $1600, the rest will go toward turning on utilities.
