To say that Black Panther isn’t diverse just because it isn’t that racially diverse makes no sense and that stupid bitch blocked me for being right so I’ll post it in my own blog:
Chadwick Boseman, and Michael B. Jordan are African American
Letitia Wright is Afro-Guyanese (Guyana is in South America and she was raised in the UK)
Lupita is Afro-Latino and was born in Mexico but her family is originally from Kenya
Danai Gurira is African and from Zimbabwe
Daniel Kaluuya is Afro-British(sorry Idk what they call it)
Florence Kasumba is Afro-German
So the film is ETHNICALLY diverse which still counts for something so @keyhollow you can shut the fuck up now because it’s obvious you’re just mad because BP doesn’t have any light skins in it
It obviously doesn’t count because they’re all black 🙄🙄
But I think this is a good example of people not caring to see diversity in Blackness and look at us as just this flat static people when the Afro diaspora is huge and literally on every continent there’s people.
It’s because they don’t fucking care and I wish they’d stop pretending to “champion diversity.” All of sudden when it’s a Black movie that we’ve all been waiting for that’s when they can complain about diversity but stay quiet about the fifty million films with only white people in them or one character of color. smh I wish they would just shut the fuck up
