Canadians don’t even realize how racist they are.

I’m literally having an argument with a woman on twitter who is convinced that First Nations children get more poverty supports and social benefits than other children when:

a.) First Nations children are actually underfunded compared to every other group in Canada.

b.) A higher proportion of Indigenous children live in poverty than any other group.

She’s convinced that if she were native she wouldn’t be living in poverty.
