FCC ignored your net neutrality comment, unless you made a ‘serious’ legal argument

Already obvious of course but the FCC reminded everybody it doesn’t listen to and won’t factor in anyone’s “opinion” about the things they pay for and use.

They’ll only care if a lawyer or politician slams them with something that proves some kind of negative consequences for themselves.

I’m just going to say that if they do this we should be out on the street and quickly to make them suffer for it.

Who are we about to boycott? They only understand money loss.

If they drop net neutrality, then the best option is to for customers to call their internet providers and threathen them with a pay strike if they don’t uphold net neutrality. Of course this wont work if a couple of people do it. But get tens of thousands of people doing it and these companies will be forced to abide. This will of course be harder to do to companies that have monopolies in some areas, like Comcast.

identifying as “queer” stopped being empowering once it became an expectation instead of a deliberate statement

what the fuck does this mean

that i do not find that word to be empowering as i am expected to identify with that word, called that word coercively, and belittled for not wanting to be called by that word, as opposed to when reclaiming that slur was a personal and deliberate political statement
