men are banned from saying “daddy issues” especially about women they disagree with or find volatile, it just shows they’re fucking sociopaths and that young girls going through neglect, abuse and predatory behavior is a laugh for them + just another reason to undermine and question women’s credibility in conversations
It’s a cop out as well as a sloppy power move that they pull out in conversations they have no stake in. women discussing exclusively women’s issues is felt as a displacement of their power. they resort to making us unstable, unreliable narrators. in the absence of any argument with a leg to stand on, that is how they can still win and look like the rational party. and they have shown over and over that they won’t hesitate to stoop low and cite our personal pain as the reason for dismissing our perspectives. even and especially in conversations about misogyny where those experiences and traumas ironically give us the Most credibility as firsthand victims of the problem.
ditto for “who hurt you” “you’re saying that because you’re damaged/hysterical” “did you not get enough love as a child” etc

In the wild capybaras live in large groups so naturally a female capybara will take care of not only her own offspring, but all of the other offspring in the group. So capybaras are super great mothers who will adopt pretty much anything and take care of it.
Lots of places that rescue different animals will give a group of baby animals to a capybara to raise if they have one.

Deer
Emus
They are just super calm animals so they’re naturally great at mothering or just existing in a group!

So I’m watching “let It Fall”.. a documentary about the LA riots.. and this straight black dude fixes his mouth to say that white people only accept black men if they gay.. anything else is considered a threat.. this is one of the main reasons why I can’t get behind black hetero men’s politic.. where in everdom have white people accepted black gay men??? Folks be unloading their trauma on the wrong folk.. I’m starting to realize that more and more.. we have no resources to deal with trauma in healthy ways.. so we unload it on the nearest available punching bags..
