why does nobody talk about black girls being told straight up to their face that they’re the least desirable of the races??? like i’m always told how much hotter asian girls are, latinas are, white girls are WINNING and i’m just there to fill the empty space in time before they get to find a superior girl from another race lol
and like i really hate that the whole “black girl magic” concept – which was for us by us – has been usurped by random nonblacks and they’re online like “yas girl werk ur so magical amazing” but then they sit back while their people tell us that we literally ain’t shit. they act like “black girl magic” is already a fact that everyone accepts like no that’s something black girls made up to support themselves because we literally only have our own backs

to all of my followers, and especially my younger ones, please don’t believe in all of the tumblr ideology without thinking about it critically. while tumblr can be right sometimes, a lot of it is just virtue signaling and mob mentality. if you don’t agree with something you see on tumblr please don’t think it just because that’s what everyone else is doing and you don’t want to feel ostracized 

its always frustrating when posts like this pop up bc its could be completely innocent but then you throw in dog whistle terms like “virtue signaling” and see the reblogs are full of self proclaimed anti sjws who are comparing fandom discourse to nazi concentration camps and you just have to wonder 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
