To @kushandwizdom this is a rather unfair portrayal of Africa as a whole since half of these are literally just South Africa. So Instead to add to this post and better dispel the myth of Africa as the vast wasteland of poverty most people think, I found a much more mixed collection of pics from various countries.
Luanda, Angola
Agadir, Morocco
Lagos, Nigeria
Cairo, Egypt
Port Louis, Mauritius
Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire
Algiers, Algeria
Tripoli, Libya
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Tunis, Tunisia
So, there, a much better case demonstrating the various major cities around Africa showing it isn’t some technologically backwards continent, but actually pretty up-and-coming in the world of commerce.
Ok, so I hate doing this cuz who likes being reminded that they’re poor. But I’m kinda in a tough spot because of a family emergency (thanks mom) and I don’t have enough to pay for the semester. And I really don’t want them to drop me this close to the end. I’m $1000 short (yikes) and I’d greatly appreciate any help I can get. You’re not obligated to donate or reblog, save the nasty messages please. I’ll delete this post when/if I get enough. Thanks for reading ❤
It fascinates me how you never hear people who “tell it like it is” complimenting others. Seriously, people who pride themselves on being brutally honest or always speaking their mind should statistically be throwing out random compliments to their friends and strangers on a daily basis. Unless of course being brutally honest is just your entry fee to being an asshole.
