A lot of different people have gotten a lot of different things from this and had a lot of (bad/unrelated) commentary on this post. So allow me to elaborate this on a way that I have not before.
This is post is in direct response to a post calling The McElroys (when they got in trouble in June), Rebecca Sugar (a repeated racist content creator), and Andrew Hussie (I don’t have enough time to list why this man is shitty please look it up for yourself there’s so much) inherently good people for creating diverse content. All three of these creators are white and are not hurting for internet defenders no matter how much racist content any of them produce.
This post is about racist white content creators being allowed to have almost completely free range with how racist they are in their media without people really caring how many people of color get hurt in the process.
This post has absolutely nothing to do with purity culture, but since all of you want it to be about that. I never said that and now pedophiles and rape apologists are using the commentaries on this post to do whatever they want. Furthermore purity culture as a concept is stupid because no is saying you can’t make things with dark themes literally almost every gay person I have ever met adores The Handmaiden which features incredibly dark themes, asking people not to be racist, homophobic, or transphobic isn’t purity culture it’s common decency.
This post is not about Wonder Woman, though it absolutely could absolutely could be included in the above list because Wonder Woman is an almost completely white imperialist romp featuring white women. Though in my opinion Atomic Blonde is a better example of what this post is about because Atomic Blonde is a racist spy movie that people were going to look of the death of a woman of color to see a white character be involved with other women despite it being in the trailer.
This post is in no fucking way about “well you can’t satisfy everyone so we should be happy with one aspect” stop asking lgbtpoc to be satisfied with racist content and piss poor rep because you want a white gay character.
Furthermore this post is not at all about “you should watch this genre because it representation in it” because it was literally never about that and I have no idea how that came up, but make your own posts if you wanna discuss that.

Yes, we are going to be okay, at least as far as these little friends are concerned. The odds of a microbe that evolved in an aquatic environment THOUSANDS of years ago suddenly up and adapting to infect a human system as soon as it’s thawed are basically zilch. (The megaviridae [big ass viruses] that are the actual subject of the above clickbait infected ancient amoeba. It would take a TREMENDOUS amount of time and selection pressure for these viruses to learn to infect human systems, even by viral time scales.)
You SHOULD be worried about deforestation, especially in rain forests, which has the potential to release microbes that are more than adapted to mammalian systems and are generally happy to make a zoonotic (animal to human) jump, especially those that primarily infect simians. The major hemorrhagic fevers (Ebola, Marburg) were more than likely first exposed to humans after major deforestation.

basically this racist white bitch (dont know her name, but her finsta is @breezy_bumble_b) was roommates with a black girl named jazzy rowe. things were already bad with them, since the racist bitch was clearly racist, so jazzy had recently moved out. a short time ago, said racist bitch posted this comment on her instagram:
im not sure how long it took for the screenshot to reach jazzy, but i know that she said one of her neighbors friends told her. the racist bitch had around 100 followers on her finsta, so the fact that only ONE person contacted jazzy is disgusting to me
jazzy has stated that she was told repeatedly that nothing can be done about this until the school finishes its investigation, and im willing to bet the school will drag this shit on forever to make people forget. the fact that this racist bitch is still going to school here is insane. this is an obvious hate crime and she needs to be arrested for deliberately trying to harm a black student. if i find out anything else about the situation, ill keep you guys posted
edit: i forgot to mention that the school is the university of hartford. it says the school on jazzy’s facebook page, but just in case yall can’t see that
