As always I wish a lot more feminists recognised that reproductive rights is not only about the right to not have children, but also the right to have children

Access to abortion is important, but so is fighting forced sterilisation, which almost always targets marginalised groups, especially disabled women, trans women, poor women and women of colour (and lets not pretend that doesn’t factor into why the issue is looked over by more privileged feminists)

They are both issues of reproductive rights and bodily autonomy and you can not have one without the other

Why is it okay to have that as your username when, if you put any other race in place of white, someone would be attacked for it? I know people and women of color go through a lot of racism and bullshit, but it’s like a slap in the face to people who do all they can to stand up for POCs. I know it’s just being a decent human to stand up for someone being bullied, especially when it’s just over the color of their skin, but I don’t understand why you have to have that as your username.

Can Y’all donate to Ivan Wright’s gofundme? he’s 4 years old and has a rare childhood cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. He has a tumor on his eye that has made it so he can’t see.

He spent his 4th birthday in the hospital.

It’s the holidays, and with all the medical bills and stress, his parents are really going through it. I don’t know them personally. But I saw a tweet about his story this morning. Retweeting it wasn’t enough for me, and I saw how everyone gave that lil boy crying $54k. Ivan’s family is in need of 10k and they only have less than 1k right now as I post this. So, for all the ~<100k of you that follow me and care, can you please go give them something? A dollar, five, ten. That’s enough to help him reach his goal and to possibly have something close to a decent holiday season.

The cutie in the picture with me is my little nephew Lem. I want to get him this touch screen all in one desktop for Christmas. Unfortunately I’m going to have to put most of my funds towards my hospital bills from when I was admitted this past weekend over my gallbladder pain.
