In class today, Trump was somehow brought up and someone said that Trump was a neo-nazi and my professor was like, “Trump hasn’t ever said he was a neo-nazi” and another kid said, “I was still gay before I started calling myself gay!” and realized what he said and he looked just mortified but it was the greatest response to anything I’ve ever heard

When trump makes you so angry that you ram down the closet door to call out some bs

Gays coming out of their closet to shame the mankind

What’s the Arabic say?

“Habibti inti OK?”

Habibti is a term of endearment (‘my love’, f), inti is ‘you’ (f), and OK is… OK.

Also ‘baba’ means dad. Father would be ‘abi’. In Arabic, mom and dad are ‘mama w baba’.

And lest you say this is a ‘Western’ thing, I know people who have both chosen to wear the hijab and chosen to remove it in – gasp – an Arab country. And if you say “but Saudi Arabia!”, do know that many Arabs and Muslims facepalm whenever the subject comes up. I don’t think the Inquisition is the first thing to come to mind when most people think of Christianity.

Thank you for the translation!

edit:
okay here’s the article, it’s pretty bad

“Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are “vulnerable,” “entitlement,” “diversity,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “evidence-based” and “science-based.”

“In some instances, the analysts were given alternative phrases. Instead of “science-based” or “evidence-based,” the suggested phrase is “CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes,” the person said. In other cases, no replacement words were immediately offered.”

This may seem like it’s not a big deal but it really really is.

The
CDC is not allowed to study gun violence as an epidemic (despite the
fact that most physicians/epidemiologists view it as such) or do prevention research because of
some NRA funded gag-rule bullshit.

It might seem like it’s just a few word changes, but those changes literally going to kill people.
