i dunno if this is an unpopular opinion but like. i’m tired of that thing where people think the reason gay men are misogynistic is because they’re gay instead of, like, the reason being that they’re men. or where people think being a lesbian is what makes a cis lesbian terf transphobic, instead of being cis as the reason. you can discuss how a group people has privilege over you in a certain way without saying it’s the cause of part of their identity that makes them oppressed.
