My family calls the lil ones “mami” and “papi” and people think that’s wierd and even as far as saying it’s “perverted” like no I’m sorry you’re the problem bc WE don’t think of it as the way but YOU have sexualized a simple cute innocent word so much that we dont even feel comfortable saying it
