With people around me getting ready to be parents and all these pregnancies, I cannot believe in 2017, our parents and grandparents still think getting married is the answer. Like marriage is not going solve their problems especially if they’re not ready. How does marriage play into being good parents if it ends in divorce because they weren’t ready? How does a wedding make people good parents? It doesn’t.
I want to know what concept equates to a marriage producing happy kids? I’ve seen divorces ruin a lot of childhoods and innocence.
Why do some people not want to believe this? Like why are they in denial about this?
I have no idea. Like you know how many kids believe divorces are their fault? That causes adult trauma with love and relationships?? They don’t hear us though💅🏿
