it just blows me away when people say like “kink is amoral and apolitical” and “i know the difference between fantasy and reality :)” to defend pedo shit or racist or transphobic shit like. anyone who paid the slightest bit of attention in a highschool “intro to psychology” class would be able to tell you that associating a concept with the reward of sexual pleasure is going to condition you in major ways even if you arent conscious of it

like duh your conscious realizes that in like (for example) a ddlg situation you arent Literally a parent and child, no ones suggesting otherwise, but thats not the issue. 

the actual deal is that your brain is being conditioned to associate children’s toys and even the concept of children with sexual pleasure, part of the body’s reward system that forms the basis of conditioning. your conscious mind is not the only part of your brain at work, like on a physical chemical level your subconscious forms and directs every thing that “you” think and do, so the whole consciously knowing the difference between fantasy and reality absolutely does not change anything
